Concept

The design choices and concept draw inspiration from ancient Mesoamerican civilisation’s design in architecture, sculpture, decorations and motifs. These design elements and forms were recreated in a more modern context while still imitating the ancient stylised look. In the ancient Aztek and Mesoamerican culture, symbolism was a key factor in their traditional beliefs. Symbolism of animals representing warriors is specifically underlined in the rebrand. The eagle, jaguar and serpent are used to differentiate between the flavours and are used as the main visual designs across the packaging and the tagline for the advertising campaign.
